Our customers have either made, or are about to make a significant investment in the PI System. Indian Point partners with OSIsoft to help customers leverage the PI System to reduce costs, meet regulatory requirements and exceed performance targets, delivering actionable information to the desktops of engineering, operations and management, creating real value and shortening the payback period of the investment.

PI Systems are procured on the basis of a business case. You can benefit from our experience in implementation to help you ensure that the business case is delivered.

Typical stages of a successful PI System implementation :

• Definition of business needs and the supporting data to be gathered
• Specification of the hardware and software configuration of the PI System
• Installation of the PI System software
• Training on the installed products in our Cirencester training facility or at your site
• Configuration of ProcessBook displays and DataLink reports as well as other PI System products
• Installation of SharePoint Server and configuration of RtWebParts

Where standard OSIsoft interfaces to plant data sources do not exist, we can develop custom interfaces to a customer specification.

Where a customer has a specific application development in mind we can take one of two approaches.

The first approach is to use our coaching service which foresees us working with you to develop the application, with short training sessions to cover particular functions of the software.

Alternatively we can carry out a full lifecycle implementation from user requirements definition to testing and handover.
