Purpose This class teaches students the basic functionality of PI ProcessBook and PI DataLink. The class focuses on the main principles of each of these products and is instructor led through demonstrations and presentation slides. Students are able to gain a little practical experience through some hands on examples but should progress to PI ProcessBook Configuration and PI DataLink Configuration courses as part of their Continuous Professional Development in PI skills. Prerequisites The class is intended for those who are new to PI and who have little or no experience with OSIsoft’s client products. This class is designed for students who have a good understanding of a Windows environment. Attendees should be conversant with Microsoft Office products and in particular have an understanding of Microsoft Excel.
