Purpose The purpose of this class is to provide a basic understanding of the Visual Basic programming language using Excel VBA. Each topic is reinforced through practical exercises. The class aims to develop sufficient Visual Basic skills to be able to understand Excel macros, as well as to use Visual Basic programming to enhance the capability of Excel spreadsheets. Prerequisites Attendees should have a sound understanding of Microsoft Office products, in particular Microsoft Excel. It is preferable that the student has some previous programming experience though this is not essential.
